Is it normal to revert to thoughts of my childhood during stressful times?
I am under constant stress at my job. I own my own business, and I'm currently the only one managing it. It's alot of work and effort to do everything by myself, and during these stressful times I can't help but think back to my childhood, a time when things we're so much more innocent and carefree. I think back to times when I first met my bestfriend, had my first car, and etc. Most of the time, I think about things like the pranks me and my friends pulled on each other, the video games we played, the laughs we had, the places we went to, and times when we didn't get along. This rush of Nostalgia helps me to relieve my stress, but I don't know if it's healthy to keep constantly looking back on the past as a way to deal with stress. Is this normal?
