Yeah, technically. My house is there. My husband is there. My square head dog is there (am-staff. I know you have Pitties)...anyways, I was in America when the pandemic broke out & I couldn't get repatriated on the Visa I was currently on once they closed their borders, so I've been stuck in America & unable to go home for the duration of the pandemic. I have no idea when I'll be able to go home...borders opening, vaccinations, who tf knows.
Anyways, it's been tough but I'm actually doing really well. I've been working a ton & doing a lot of solitary hiking. Hahahaha I'm ranting about myself. How have you been turd bird? How's the hatchling since your Iceland trip...I know she's still in the fledgling leaving the nest years...how's she doing with all this...fucking rampant bullshit?
The pandemic has been tough for everyone. Kinda shitty to see the attitude on here, minimizing everything, especially since I've had a family member die from coronavirus

We're pretty good so far, a few close people had the 'rona but luckily have recovered. Funny enough, when this virus really gained attention, the first thing I did was see if it had to spread to Iceland yet...it did.. It's all just crap and overwhelming sometimes. I know history repeats itself but I was hoping to never see something like this. My head is in so many places because of other stuff that I won't dive into publicly here, but I'm managing.
A hike sounds so nice right now. A friend of mine live in Pennsylvania and she goes alone alot along the Appalachian trail...I may have to buddy up with her one day for an overnighter. Bring some bacon and booze, just chill for a little while in natures splendor.
I hope you get back to Straya soon to see the pup 'n hub!!

& if you do have a chance to hike, go do it, seriously. Quaranteened weekend drive with your daughter or your friend, even if you guys just go chill in a forest preserve. Just getting outside makes a huge difference. I honestly think being stuck inside & in really limited space is one of the worst parts of this whole groundhog day, shitty pandemic. I'm glad you guys are doing ok though. You deserve it.
& I'll get back there. Relationship has still stayed strong through the pandemic. Just a matter of time.
Yeah, the cases in parts of Scandinavia & the adjacent countries unfortunately escalated a bit. I know Iceland is close to your heart, but that part of the world will be really good with preventing deaths & having people actually cooperate & social distance. They'll make it through & hopefully you can get back for another visit <3
