Is it normal to react i differently to gore, but actually want to be scarred?

So, I tried out Reddit 50/50, surprisingly it wasn’t at all a life ruinier. I felt nothing from seeing the gorey ones, in fact I was bored and wanted to see something worse. And I found myself looking at murder ones and thinking how interesting it was, like how muc the person bled. I’m highly fascinated by forensics and wanted to be a medical examiner, I’ll add.
