  • Yes the principle of every single religion regarding sexual preference (or what you think about in your mind) is stated that you are sick and require fixing! Science has confirmed (very strongly without confusion) our sexual preference is determined before we are born, and is natural across all species tested (including humans) in a smaller percentage than 'straights'.

Regarding keeping the peace at home, that's reasonable IF you feel these others are not accepting enough, in their lack of understanding. You didn't exactly ask for anyone's input on all this, but tests on praying versus guessing, guessing won, but I could have guessed that outcome to begin with.

I said wait because of your youth and physical and emotional (and seemingly spiritual) immaturity.

Regarding speaking to the 'man of the house', ok that was an intended joke, please don't speak to them about this unless your family is open plus (like nudists or free love activists :) ) In this case they are the opposite. By the way, although "most Christians don't follow all the commandments in the new testament of the bible" since of the 618 of them I think stoning your children to death for talking back is obviously ridiculous in our day and age! But I'm actually not aware of ANYTHING of value in this very old book written in the Middle east 2000+ years ago. Except possibly the Egyptian story of the Sun through the zodiac signs, we move from fish to aquarius in 2150, but its NOT the end of the world either.

    • It is not every Aetheists wish that children are bi. It is YOUR wish because you like to stick your cock into children.

It is NOT a fact that a sexual preference is determined before birth. It is a hypothesis that is still being tested. You wish it was a fact because your mind does not understand rigor. You want to be told what to think. Go think with your cock.

      • We didn't remove the entirety of BS religion from public schools and the law on a hypothesis.
Gay, lesbian, Bi whatever your preference = natural.

    • Yeah a lot still think like that. And the bible says that. But my church and family decided to ignore it. While others protest against it and ban different sexualities, from their religion.

Oh okay I understand now. Haha I'm spiritually immature too?

Yeah but I'am overly emotional when it comes to it. So should I wait when I'm older to do it with my boyfriend(if he doesn't leave me because of this)? or until marriage. I feel like I'll never get over the fear, even in marrige, I think I'll still be scared because of inexperience and my painful experience of trying to do it before.
I even wear a lot of full clothing, so going naked will still be difficult, since one Christian value of our family is to dress to be modest. I feel bad and ashamed because I remember our morals. Its really messing with my head and I don't want to develop a weird phobia to it.

Haha same I just like reading about the end where it talks about armageddon. And some other stories with mythical things like angles and giants.

      • I find it strange that you would still associate yourself with christianity, which is openly against the LGBT community, and even gender equality! Plus you also state your particular denomination decided to ignore one of these supposed gods laws. But each to their own I suppose.

Regarding 'spiritually immature' (and I do note you are polite and well mannered). You bring up things such as religious morals and laws and religion itself, and I find these things to be without reason or evidence. I have therefore categorized you into the deluded pile, albeit with your free thinking church, that unlikely holds gay wedding ceremonies (has any yet?).

Regarding your continual interest in this topic of should you wait OR even get married first. I have already stated you should wait until you are comfortable and feel secure and I assume this will be when you're older. Then you wrote something about twisted morals confusion you still have because of religion, I've gone over this a lot, I don't agree with any of those non substance morals.

Your last line seems to make me feel that one day you'll see a lot more eye opening of the crazy myths of the church. Angels can't exist since they require a brain, science confirmed damage to our brain can even cause total personality and 'beliefs' changes in our personality, I'd suspect a dead brain would not have any personality in this mighty bread shop called christian heaven. Giants cannot exist due to the weight of their bones would literally break under the pressure, plus we haven't found any 'giant' bones of humans, you'd think they'd be most easiest to find. Armageddon fear mongering to christians from your common priest, is in 2 parts, the main part is this movement to the new 'age' away from Pisces the fish sign, the Egyptians already reported the age of the bull ending and so forth (I keep getting these next animals mixed up, because I actually hate zodiac rubbish, what if you were born in another solar system, which sign would that be?!!) Anyway, when these 'ages' moved to the next age the entire population didn't die!

        Luke 22:10
And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

        Mark 14:13
And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

The bible is quite comprehensive in this entire Egyptian understanding. Ironically the Greeks and Egyptians were very close JUST before the bible came out, and 'jesus' himself was born on the SAME year we entered into the Pisces star formation (obviously as seen from mid to northern hemisphere OR the middle east! ;)

        • Don't know, all I know is things keep changing and I was born into it, and no one in my little community has used it against me.
Yeah bible says its a sin but same with lying so no ones innocent I guess.

We have a reason for sex after marriage and also our other morals, we treat it as something special and also something shared between true lovers(some one you want to spend the rest of your life with.) Also heard a joke that HIV would disappear if everyone had sex after marriage and didn't cheat. Since everyone would be a virgin and sleep with a virgin. (Funny Christian joke, of course in reality the number would just be lowered, since HIV can be spread other ways too)

And being kind to everyone is a strong moral with a strong reason, even if someone disrespects you just show them grace and give them space, no reason to waste your breath when you can save it and move on. Also helps people feeling down to feel happier when you show strangers kindness and respect.

Not trying to argue with you, just want to live my life how I think I should and let others do the same with theirs. I don't bother to change someone else's opionion if it brings no harm.

Yeah I agree. I feel like I'm not ready so I'll wait till I'm married. And feel like it be worth the wait anyway, then regret it now.

Haha I don't belevie in them I just have an interest in mythology, barely any Christians in my church do. Closest you'll find is a person believing in ghost, heaven, hell and holy spirits (modern angle with no wings, kinda like blessings). But I hold no beliefs in them, but the placebo effect works with the holy spirit belief when they do healing prays strangely.

Don't take Zodiacs serious either, they can be very inacurate , but fun to mess with.

Think your confusing me with an old school Christian, all I do is carry morals that I think will benefit me as being a better (nicer, tolerant, stronger) person and believe in a possibility of something greater out there with more power than us. Not do, but just the possibility of something which my church calls god could create something, not like a being who controls our fate and watches us, but like greater and complex out of this world. What god? I believe in the possible. Until we humans work out the origin of the big bang my mind is open, and so was Einstein's.

"I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it. (Albert Einstein, 1954)" - Einsein

          • I have reason to reply because of valid concerns about a couple of things you stated trapped inside your fluent writing. I'll try to keep in line with your own paragraphs as to keep continuity.

Atheists aren't against any christians (or non christians) or anyone. Although it is only a non belief itself, in general it is the unfounded and delusions of their beliefs that are in question. The point is that communities of individuals can be quite good in their actions together and this has no bearing on their imaginary beliefs. Such things as sin or being against the bible, are purely nonsense and certainly not what any civilized society lives by, especially when it comes to the bible's clear immorals!

HIV has nothing to do with marriage or morals. Given your 'christian' hypothetical that if all people acted this way and had sex (obviously only with virgins) after marriage, this would not stop the 'sexual' spread of HIV. Since clearly we mostly see the 'christian' nations of believers (themselves) having the most outside marriage extra marital affairs. In reality we also see most (if not all) christians in the very dominant roles of their congregations as the ones who abuse children sexually, thus causing higher concerns than even HIV and other diseases spreading within the communities. I'm not fully aware of your innocence of knowledge on the matter, but the christianity 'morals' of marriage are likely classed as the worst idea, with their very young marriages and little or NO contraception ideas. Morally speaking (only) christians are not a good example clearly.

Kindness and respect to others is most certainly a good thing, even stated as morally good. I endeavor to be kind to strangers everywhere I go offering initial respect towards humanity in individuals unless they show me otherwise. Obviously this is not a christian moral, nor is it an original christian moral, it is stated that like species inherently do not turn against each other, same species birds fly together, same species fish swim together, etc etc and all humans try to get along together. We only see wars and hatred within different strangely unaccepted religious beliefs or through power and ownership entitlements etc. I'm quite happy to talk with or be with or fall in love with any nationality and any one of any beliefs, sadly this is again not the way of christianity. But as a strong atheist, I know that having good morals is not a christian thing.

If someone else's opinion brings no harm, then I have no concerns for it either. I feel Muslims should pray in christian churches and Jews can marry christians and even Scientologists can welcome christians in their buildings. I don't know why religions, especially christianity, state that all other religions are wrong are are going to hell forever in damnation. I could never respect such a non informed judgemental attitude towards any human with any beliefs. Children of Islam are not going to christian hell, not because their quran nonsense tells them this, but because the bible has been confirmed immoral and also nonsense for many modern decades now.
As a strng minded respected atheist I always 'show strangers kindness and respect', this is not a christian thing.

Waiting to be married before having sex is your belief. Personally I respect each and every individual on the matter. In most cases having sex before marriage (even gays) is preferred, so as you fully know the person in all ways you can before marriage. Sex and love basically can go hand in hand, lovers should not need to wait for anything, especially not the government registered marriage, that has NEVER been a religious thing.

I am speaking wholly of the modern christian ignorance and poor moral concepts, in reference to their old immoral book the bible. I gain my morals from discussion with others and learning how to live a healthy happy safe life together. We decide on our morals as respected humans for the best of all others within our time. Sadly (for you, or anyone using an authority figure) that's not a christian thing.

Science is working on 'origins'. The Big Bang understanding is our best most intelligent view and confirmed beginning of the universe. If you want to learn more or discover or uncover things such as origins of the universe then join the cosmic scientists and mathematicians and theoretical professors out there. Just stating Allah or Zeus or any mythical god done it, is nonsense. This is called god of the gaps, you choose this because you don't know any better, that is NOT what our human society does anymore. We also do not use the god label anymore for unknowns, as this has too many problems associated with it.

Einstein was certainly not a christian, far from it. But even if he were that would make not the slightest of difference. We are concerned with the truth and reality, and not lying to our children to give them false comfort without a shred of evidence or reasoning any longer, which is sadly the christian thing to do!

            • I respect your opinions but I was only speaking of my family and my small community of Christians, since we are not the same as the others. There are different branches of it after all such as Anglican.

And I never said it's a Christian thing. I mean we take those things on strongly as our morals too. I never said non Christians don't have these morals.

And I was joking about the HIV I even said its "silly".
I'm not saying if they're were Christians, if people took on the same moral it would then decrease, if you took cheating out. But still, people as a whole have way more one night stands when they're single, then they cheat in a marrige, whether they're Christian or not.

I'm a modern and unique type Christian. Very different from the ones showed in media.
All I do is "respect and love thy neigbour", take communion, and wait till marrige to have sex, and believe in possibilities of something existing until proven false.

Not trying to prove that Christianity is helpful or useful, but personal follow it because it matches the way I like to live in this world.

I only had conflicting feelings with the sex before marriage.

I know he isn't, and my family and community don't lie, they read the bible and let anyone interpret anyway they want. But we teach our children facts unlike other Christians.
Like I said before I don't believe in angles or giants, because science disproves their existance.

We're not like other Christians, we let gays in our church out and open freely. And teach fact and leave other things up to others interpretation.

I feel your still confusing me with the original Christians who are very radical with their own views.

              • My opinions are based on reasoning and knowledge and if you bring up such things as the Big Bang then I reference my reasoned opinion on facts. The loose word 'opinion' is more suited to those of faith, who have no good reason to believe.

You said: "All I do is "respect and love thy neigbour", take communion, and wait till marrige to have sex, and believe in possibilities of something existing until proven false."
When we reason this, we find that it is not always good to love everyone. We can love humanity and humans, but individual actions of others can cause hate and anger, we don't love our enemies, and we shouldn't either.
As for 'communion' in the religious term, this is where a biscuit or bread is supposedly jesus and wine is his blood (generally speaking). This old fashioned ritual is of Christianity and is without reason, as historians (even of the time, especially of the time) did not mention any Jesus (or other names) of the bible performing miracles. I find it strange that those people who supposedly saw Jesus was able to have belief, BUT these days people can only have faith, as 'god' has decided that you don't need the evidence itself any longer, plus the bible is not followed or re-interpreted and therefore not a reliable source. It is this 'faith' that I find unreasonable.
And when you state 'until proven false', I find this to be your indoctrination speaking, as science does not prove fairies or unicorns or gods false! Science discovers facts and truths. The gumball analogy comes to mind, but I find the court analogy of not guilty, as opposed to innocent, as the best analogies in this (you can look this up). No one can prove anything false BUT we can remove most or all of the unfounded beliefs (like witches, gays being sick, and 'miracles').

You don't like that I relate you to so called fanatical Christians (when I DO relate them all the same).
I don't like you say it's my opinion, when it's your opinion without reason that I reference.

I hear you when you say you are open in your congregation, but you continue to state unreasonable normally 'Christian' rituals and unfounded beliefs. Unless you assume the position of deity only beliefs, then your beliefs in Christianity and throw in Christian lines, shows me you are most definitely of the unfounded Christian faith. I find that wrong with my 'opinion' based on reason and evidence and knowledge. I find you best 'teachings' to children would be to get them to know there are many religions all with incompatible gods, they obviously can't be all right, but they can be all wrong. The best way of learning is to guide them to ask questions and learn for themselves.

I have an opinion you are very close to understanding things such as 'until proven false' is nonsense, including love thy neighbor and communion, let alone your concerns of presently unknown origins, and many other generally Christian things you stated. You are SO close to breaking through these unfounded beliefs it is my 'opinion', you'll one day not have these 'old fashioned' views of the bible (or Quran or Egyptian markings or aboriginal cave drawings or American Indians etc etc etc mythical stories), just due to reasoning out that belief REQUIRES good reason or evidence to have faith in anything, including natural human love for each other.
