Is it normal to pretend to be bad at math because i have a crush on my tutor?

There's a guy at my college who tutors people in math. My grades aren't bad, but I sometimes pretend to have difficulties with math just so that I can spend more time with him. It's a good thing I already know most of the stuff he's telling me, though; whenever he's talking about something, I'm way too distracted imagining the things I'd like to do to him to actually pay attention to what he's saying.
