  • I tend to do this as well, I agree with a previous comment that it can really keep you alert and on your toes. I find that you can't let your mind get to crazy though least you let the thoughts start hindering you. I joined a gym again and I keep imagining things like, " what if my grip was off just a bit and the bar while benching came slamming down on my chest!?" and so of course I see this entire event happen in my head. You could say, well shit I won't even risk that! lol but it just makes you more cautious.
