Is it normal to not want to go home but don't want to leave home either?

When I'm at home and suddenly I have to go somewhere, I feel like I don't want to go, even if it's school, or meeting up with a friend, doing school related stuff, anything, I don't want to leave the house and most of the time, I end up canceling it or feeling like slapping everyone I meet on the street when I go out.

But then, when I'm out or I'm in school and have to go home, I feel like I don't want to. I still want to roam around or go somewhere, or eat. That's why before I go home, I'm buying everything that I need like school supplies, groceries, or there's anything my Dad would want me to buy for him because once I step in to the house, I'll never want to go out again.

But when I'm out, I don't want to go home!
Aaahhhh I think it's not normal? O.O

This type of behaviour, is unfortunately becoming more and more common in SOME Westernized societies. It is termed a 'Culture-bound syndrome'.
I do not know how to 'cure' this. More study is required on this, in my humble opinion. I think that someone should compare different Western societies, ones that 'suffer' from this, to ones that don't.

Haha I'm the same way. I think of how comfortable home is. I know how you feel. What I can suggest is finding a hobby outside of the house that really appeals to you. It will feel nice being out and away, and when you go home, you can relax comfortably, and have something to look forward to. Good luck!
