Is it normal to not know what my real voice is?
Okay look, as strange as it seems, I seriously have no clue what my REAL voice is. I’m going to try to keep this brief.
So, ever since I was about 8, l have begun to change my voice every now and then. As I got older and went through puberty I expected my voice to get deeper. However, I became concerned as I only found that my vocal repertoire just expanded. Ever since then, I noticed that I use conpletely different voices around different people, for instance, I might use a lighter voice with one group of friends but a deeper with an other group of friends. I mean, I would straight up completely changing my voice, back and forth, if I was with both groups at the same time. One minute, my voice is deep and a little raspy and the next, it is light (Like a thousand times lighter) and clear. Oh, and I even tend to mimic their accents if they have one (I hope that isn’t rude). I swear, I have at least 20 different voices I use.
Well, anyway, I hope I was clear enough. If need be, I could probably explain better if you ask questions. So, is it normal?
