I did the same to a thumb once while goalkeeping with no gloves on. It took a good 2-3 weeks to heal. It sounds like it's just a nasty bone bruise, which doesnt necessarily heal quick. Since you've waited 2 weeks. Wait one more? It's likely to only get better from here
