Is it normal to not have a religion

You are free to choose whatever you like, and if you don't want to follow a religion it's ok. It's your life.

If you're rational and your IQ is high enough it's normal not to have a religion.

Your mother may never come around to see your side of things, just put up with her the best you can and try not to get frustrated with her.

It's very normal, I'm not religious either. Only difference is that my parents aren't religious too so I never felt the pressure to go to church like you do. I hardly ever saw a church from the inside.

Despite of that I think religion is very interesting, even for someone who's not religious. It's interesting to know what other people believe in.

It is normal. I disagree with your belief but I respect it as long as you respect mine. I believe in God but I don't think He would want me to judge anyone, so I don't.
