Is it normal to not get aroused by women
First off, I indentify as a heterosexual. I have been emotionally attracted to women. However, I do not get turned on by them. I also noticed that I get turned on by gay pornography. Is this normal?

Maybe it's a sign of my age and the silted-up neurons in my head, but I find this very confusing.
OP says he identifies as straight, but also that he's sexually aroused by naked men messing around with each other. So... are we supposed to respect his self-identification, or is it reasonable to say, "Now, hold on there just a minute, bro..."
As a male of northern European descent who's sexually attracted exclusively to women, if I were to decide that I identify as a black lesbian woman, are people supposed to respect that? Who has the right to say, "No, dude, you're not allowed to call yourself that!"

Who knows? Rereading the OP, it's ambiguous enough that it's entirely possible. I've never understood why so many people posting questions here seem to assume that everyone will know their age, gender, geographical location and other details relevant to their question.

Yeah I was going to say the title wouldn't really make sense if it's a woman, but they mention being emotionally attracted to women, so maybe they were wondering if they were a lesbian or something.
It's always funny when the ones who are obviously men pretending to be promiscuous women, cheating on their husband / boyfriend or sucking their boss' dick, leave out their gender. I just assume they're gay men in those stories.

Yes, it's normal. It's not unheard of that your romantic and sexual attractions go in different directions... it just makes your life miserable. Do some more soul searching and figure out what's best for you.
And as for the record, you would be homosexual heteroromantic.

I noticed that some of you are confused about my question. So, I'm going to clear some things:
1. Yes, I am a male (although I am questioning my gender identity as well).
2. I don't mind people questioning my sexuality, I apologise if my question came up as a "Respect my Identity!" post.
