Even though I wouldn't say I'm from money (my family is middle class), my parents were the same way while I was in college. They told me they wanted me to just focus on school (despite me wanting to work). I decided college wasn't for me and dropped out after only a semester, so I wasn't out of work long, though. To be honest, I would take work over school any day, lol.
