Is it normal to not be so happy reading this "supposed" true meaning of life?
Ok, So I read a book called "Many lives, Many masters" and
SPOILERS (about the true meaning of life) Ahead :P :
In that, a normal shrink hypnotised a girl patient and came to know that she had 86 previous lifetimes O.o
Anyway, soo Basically the author was saying "how happy human kind would be if they came to know they are never gonna really die, how carefree they will be to know WE ARE IMMORTAL!!!!
>_> I personally think this supposed true meaning of life really sucks. having 86 random lifetimes.live and die, live and die, live and then die.whats the point?
So every time she dies, some 2 or 3 masters appear in the after life stage and they preach something : what you sow, so shall you reap(NOT EXACTLY but something like that!) and then people go back to another life, so that we learn something we are yet to learn >.> and after we have learnt everything, the masters send us back to teach others(I m imagining some saint-like person here.)
And whats the deal with...In one life, a guy cuts ur throat and the other life hes your husband and ...DIFFERENT husbands and fathers in mostly all lives O.o [ no things like fated soulmates and shit :( ]
I think this masters theory is really boring....I m hoping for a more COOL designful intricate pattern of life :D...haha ...so maybe I should pick something new up which says something totally otherwise yay
xD Am I weird? how would you guys react to this meaning of life?
