Is it normal to not be able to use the bathroom when others are around?

Oh I soooo could've written this myself! I am in my 30s and haven't grown out of it, so don't plan on that for yourself. I can't go in public EVER. And if I do find an empty restroom, I'm so afraid that ppl are going to walk in that I seize up. I have no problem peeing in public tho, its weird.

I am only shy to an extent I can pee no prob but poopin? Its easier if someone goes with me lol

Yeah, Im extremely pee-shy. If there are people talking in the background, or even a car passing by, its impossible for me to let out a drop.

I can pee anywhere, I don't care, but number two is strictly home business. Only once did I poo in a public bathroom. I was pregnant so I didn't care that time. Hahaha funny to talk about potty business

Shit, I just had a conversation about this at work today. There's a bank machine right near our bathroom and if I can hear someone using it I can't go. If I can hear them pushing buttons, then they can probably hear me. I can't even go if there are ppl in that area of my store. I know it's silly, but I have "stage fright"

Haha sometimes at school I hold my pee in so that no ones hears me cu I used to be embarrassed about it but it's a phase that I promise u will grow out of!

Lol I had the same problem when I was younger. I realized that it doesn't matter if they can hear my buisness cause we all need to go at the bathroom and it could be a little funny but in the end who cares.
