Is it normal to never have watched tv when younger?

so, everytime she comes to visit, I pick out a bunch of dvds and maker her watch classic shows and movies like disney, nickelodeon and a bunch more. Pretty much any classics you can think of. She didn't know what Doug or Hey Arnold! was so I just started showing her that and I think shes liking it.

Shes 16 in case you were wondering and a total nerd so I doubt she minds (she cosplays and dresses up like harry potter every year for fun with her friends, reads anime and always wears her winnie the pooh watch).

    I wasn't allowed to watch television until I was 9 so this is completely normal.

    I think it's actually better, considering our over-sexualized society. You hear little kids talking about falling in love and all that. It's starting to get crazy, lol.
