Is it normal to need this for attraction?

I am absolutely unable to be attracted to people, who do not feel self-conscious about themselves (for example, about certain aspects of their body).

Even if they feel self-conscious and don't show it, it feels disappointing to me.

All of this obviously applies to a degree, which doesn't turn self-consciousness into self-loathing, the latter is unattractive as well.

Thoughts?

Maybe you're attracted to the humbleness of being self-conscious? Confident people can sometimes come off as strong to some, therefore making it a little unattractive. I personally find confidence way sexier than self-doubt, but that's just me.

You're gonna have to elaborate otherwise you just sound utterly shallow

I guess it could be something you can relate to. Perhaps you feel intimidated by confidence?

Since the majority of the population are self-conscious about themselves, I don't see your point. There are very few who are not self-conscious about themselves, and they are often total egomaniacs, the sort of people NOBODY wants to be around.
So, you are attracted to most people, right? Perhaps in time, you'll become a bit more selective?
