    Aw, keep them happy to honor your mom! I have 2 orchids, one bloomed at least twice but only after 3 years of caring for her. At first I was a bit disappointed though, the flowers are also green. The other one is a rebel.

      The orchid is kind of cool even if it won't bloom. The roots sticking out all over make it look like an alien life form.
