Is it normal to miss someone so much but refuse to contact them?

I feel the same way with old friends. Like when I remember good times with them, but those times are over. You should if you miss them, but you could move on from them and meet new people.

Mistake? Did something happen between you to cause a fallout? It's normal. I kind of feel that way about a few people.
