Is it normal to masturbate to help you fall asleep?
Sometimes at night when I'm having trouble falling asleep, I masturbate even though I'm not horny. I simply do it because it helps me fall asleep. Is this normal?

Absolutely normal. When I was younger, I used to masturbate to get to sleep and deal with morning wood in the same way.
If you're a guy, regular masturbation is good for the prostate. (Careful about using the "death grip" though. If you get used to really rough handling. that can make it difficult to respond to the more gentle stimulation of vaginal sex.)
If you're a woman, regular masturbation is good because it helps you understand your own sexual responses.
For both sexes, the endorphins released during orgasm are natural mood boosters and stress relievers.
