I honestly don't know the rules when it comes to things like that. She just said she got a message from some sort of legal team telling her to stop selling it. They apparently did this to a few people as part of some sort of crackdown. She's selling her own original stuff now. It's not selling as well but at least she doesn't have to worry about infringement.

It's normal. Just don't try to sell them like a coworker of mine did. She got in trouble since she didn't own the copyrights to the characters.

Oh wow, I never thought about that. How did they even catch her, and what were the consequences? Is it also illegal to sell cosplays then?
