I fondly appreciate ugly art.

I'm not talking about poorly drawing works like beginners stuff, but, grotesque, distorted - terrible on purpose.

Is it normal to like ugly art?

    I like ugly art, but not those creepy ones with animated monster-like faces. I like the ones with lots of scribbles or weird shape ones that you can use to put up on spare walls and I love the Picasso art.

    It's just a preference, completely normal. I'm more drawn to something terrible rather than beautiful. I don't know why. I feel like there are just so much more details in ugliness. A story.

      What I meant is about drawings that aren't supposed to be appealing. Anything under the category "uncanny valley" can be considered ugly/creepy to some people...

      His/her works aren't pretty like anime style nowadays, but it isn't awful, just a little bit off.

          Yeah, but maybe people that aren't used to the whole may think its "odd".
          When I say ugly art, it means something that is not appealing to normal audience...
          Maybe I wasn't that great at explaining the main idea...
