  • I have some relatives who are Pentecostals but I'm afraid to go to their church.

    • So do you know if they do the death drop? I'm Baptist and I can't accept the "you are healed" stuff.

      • For some reason I thought you were Jewish. I dunno if they do the "you are healed " thang cause I'm too scared to go to their church; I'm Catholic and we're really reserved in church. I sure as hell ain't doing it unless I'm actually healed cause I'm not waif sized.

        • It seems as if you could be healed, then do a death drop which could seriously injure you?
Death drops sound painful. Did you read changes123's comment?

          • Yep, I just did. Just so I'm sure, a death drop is when they fall straight back like in a trust fall?

I was at a church retreat when I was about fifteen years old and we did this stupid trust fall thing and of course I was the one they dropped. I was skinny then too so I'm not playing that crap again.

Just out of curiosity are Baptists as freaked out by holy roller Pentecostals as Catholics are?

            • I think a death drop is just passing out and falling.
You act like you wouldn't look forward to a collision with the floor. You have more cushion now is what you're eluding to?

To answer your q: They joke about people falling out into the aisles
