Never was a thumb sucker, not even a pacifier. Give me a silky blanket and I am happily soothed and lulled to sleep by its comfort. If I am sick, I need my Silky, if I am sad I need my Silky, if I am mad my Silky calms me down. There is nothing wrong with being tactile and having something that that makes us feel better. I don't know of anyone in my family before me who liked the silky of a blanket but I do have a niece and a great niece who also have the touch. I actually named my dog Silky because after the traumatic loss of my last dog, I needed the comfort of another. Silky is soft and silky, her name suits her perfectly. She has not replaced my silky "Benny's" though. I always manage to find the perfect ones in the baby blanket departments of stores. Silky on!
IIN to love to rub fabrics between my fingers?
