I do the exact same thing and have since birth!!! It started with the ribbon on my blankie when I was little and now it's the lining of a jacket I've had for about 10 years. It's so bad that I even sleep with it in the bed with me. I used to think that I was completely alone in this, but reading these comments make me feel so relieved! I'm 30 and thought I would have to be ashamed of this forever, but honestly, my friends started to notice something was up when I would have the jacket with me and in my car or at lunch or the office with me in the middle of summer. Thanks for the reassuring information!

Don't feel ashamed.You are not alone.Those who should feel ashamed of themselves and should acknowledge that they are scummy are those who delite in destroying satin items.They are psychopathic and evil apart from the fact that they are polluting our environment with soot from the items.They should feel ashamed of themselves.They should feel deeply ashamed of the destructive and fucked up things they are doing.But you should NOT feel ashamed one bit for even wanting to sleep in bed with a beautiful coat ling that brings you great comfort.I also Love the the glossy smooth satin lining of jackets as well.Especially the old vintage classic satin coat linings of the 1970s-1980s-1990s.And a couple in recent years that are pretty good.But the manufacturers are skimping on quality over $. Let them know (the fabric and textile manufacturers)that quality satin feels smooth and cool to the touch.It does NOT feel warm.It feels and remains COOL to the touch.And it should be very shiny,not dull and boring.It should feel slippery smooth. I have to have a Satin Baseball Jacket on most of the time, no matter the weather. Usually inside to keep me warm.. I love to rub the body and sleeves to my jacket so soft and comforting. Sometimes I wear 2 jackets for extra Satin warmth and satinyness! the caressability is awesome! I started with lining of a jacket when I was a toddler and loved the feel against my skin. I would love to hear if anyone else has this "fetish" or liking as I do. coat linings are great too.
IIN to love to rub fabrics between my fingers?
