Wow. I thought I was alone. Since I was a toddler, I have "rolled fuzzies". I would pick at the fabric of my baby blankets and drop the fuzzies on the floor. My family thought that was so funny. I have a real need to pull strands from blankets (cotton/nylon) and roll the strings between my fingers. I am now 51 yrs. old and still do it much to the chagrin of my family. It is very comforting and I feel compelled to do this nearly all the time, especially when feeling stressed or depressed. I have gone months without doing it, but return to it without skipping a beat. I have felt weird and embarrassed about doing it. My sister, husband, and children have teased me at times. I have an overeating disorder as well. I believe it is all a form of OCD. That's alright by me. Glad to have found others like me.
And yes, I have a fuzzy in my pocket right now ;)
IIN to love to rub fabrics between my fingers?
