Ohh! I'm so glad I found this... This is like a support group...lol... My husband hates that I rub fabrics he thought I had some kind of disorder... But when I was a baby I had a baby blanket (aka "blankie")... I had that thing for ever.. My grandma kept fixing it for me cuz as it got old it tore alot... Than, when I was about 16 it ended up missing... I'm sure someone stole it and trashed it as a cruel joke... But I joined the army and my addiction came back stronger than ever..lol... I love...love...LOVE! The pt shorts.. It's like that wind breaker material... And when I do pt I have to try my hardest to refrain from exposing my addiction.. But my husband hates it especially when he'll where his pt shorts around the house... I gotta rub 'em I don't care if he's wearing them... so glad I'm not the only one
Omg I have the same addiction with the pt shirt! I love how that material feels between my fingers. And I also love to rub rubberbands. The big wide ones. I had a boyfriend once who was an enabler. He asked all kinds of questions about it and I told him it had to be the right kind of material for me to rub it so he went out and bought different material shirts so I could find the right one. When I get really nervous or when I'm daydreaming I am vigorously rubbing my favorite material between my fingers.
