Well it depends. If you started at 500 pounds, and you lost 50, you are still fat. If you started at 100 pounds, and you lost 50, you are anorexic.
Just look at the pants size you were then and compare it to the pants size you are now. That should help .
:)
I used to be 220 pounds and now i'm 130. I still feel disgustingly ugly, worse even, than before i lost it. It's actually pretty common, unfortunately.
Oh i had the same problem before, i even got help/therapy(?) on it 😅 she said it's all about mindset, a little bit cliche but its true, if you don't love yourself now you don't love yourself after, even you not fat anymore. Now just focus on what you feel, how the shirt feel when they hang loose on your shoulder and arms when they feel tight before, how you gain strength (i assume you worked out) maybe on your knees, or your arm, your core or even some muscles you don't even know was there. Don't be too harsh on yourself, you already reach a lot by dropping those weight, keep going!
i have pictures yes and i try to compare but i barely notice a difference even though my clothes don’t fot anymore and everyone tells me i look like a new person i’m probably just being too harsh on myself tho
It may be in your mind, because if you lost 50lbs, you were definitely overweight before and that may've affected your self esteem to where you are still by habit looking down on yourself. But you may not actually be overweight anymore. If there are still people calling you fat, they're just being nasty and unkind and should not be doing that. But I don't know what you look like so I can't say if you're still actually overweight or not. Like I asked in my other comment, how tall are you and what weight should you be at?
