So, I like trolling. When I first started I was awful. But I've grown and matured and I'm really quite the trolling expert now. I like trolling because I like causing people anguish and making them mad or upset. I think I'm desensitized. Sometimes I feel devoid of typical emotion.

    It suggests you do have an emotional problem because you like to upset people.
    I like trolling too, but I do it to make people laugh.

      I really do enjoy causing other people problems. I think it's because my life is so shitty and I want to bring others down to my level.

        Not much purpose in doing that. Your world is what you create.
        I have quite a bit of my own troubles in my personal life, which is why I want to make people smile because it creates a better world for me to live in as well.

    There are many different Trolls. You just sound like an asshole to me. Imo, Trolls are more conniving, seductive, malicious, cut-throat...like I used to be. You enjoy the person's anguish, but it's because that person is completely foolish.

    Then there are those who do it for "laughs" but that's not really Trolling.

    Yet there are still others who do it overtly just to annoy people, but aren't as emotionally damaging.

    I don't think it's abnormal to Troll. The reasons BEHIND it may be.

      well you asked my question. What is trolling? gosh I must be new to this. I thought trolling was connected to being in a boat fishing out on the lake with your bait and line out there in the water Now...someone is going to have to define trolling.

        It's basically saying inappropriate or outright ridiculous comments to get an angry, outrageous response from someone. Trolling can encompass a wide range of topics, I tend to find the highest success rate occurs with comments that are racist, homophobic, or sexist. Sexist remarks are always a good mine. Also I wear a custom made troll mask when I go trolling.

        Or like the OP said it's quite similar to masturbating.

    I like friendly trolling people (always letting them feel like they've won against me), even if it makes them mad it makes me feel fuzzy inside... Heh. I'm kind of a masochist too... Maybe it's the only way I know how to get people to talk to me. :c
