Is it normal to let airport employees get away with abusive behavior?

Am I the only one who doesn't fight back when they try to make me look stupid, because I'm too tired or too focused on where I need to go?

I normally don't put up with eye-rolling or being cursed at in a different language, or being spoken to like a toddler.

Is It Normal?

    I work at an airport and I am polite to everybody, including those who seem to be unaware that a hairdryer is and electrical item.

    Sometimes I'm too tired to stick up for myself too, but at the same time there are moments where people should be put in their place

    Unfortunately, it is normal not to respond to airport indignities. In the name of security we are letting all our little day-to-day freedoms go down the toilet -- and I'm just as guilty as you and all the rest.
