I only did that kinda thing once. When my daughter was about 6 months old. She was screaming, crying. She didn't want to eat. Her diapers were dry. No amount of consolling (spld wrong) helped her. Walked with her, etc. Once She pulled this stunt at the docs office and he said she was having a tantrum. So, on his advise if it happens again to put her in her crib, close the door until you get yourself under control. I went in the backyard and had a glass of wine. I could still hear her outside. After the wine, about 30 minutes, I went back into her room. She was still crying but I could deal with it better instead of hurting her. But mind you, to just put them in there just because you want me time is wrong. Not normal. They will grow up with mommy issues.
IIN to leave your toddlers locked in their cribs for a long time?
