    I feel like doing the same thing with mice or rats would be grosser.

      I don't know, Im sure vermin are dirty too but I HATE bugs so much. I think Id rather have cute little mice(NOT rats) than bugs anyday.
      But then, I hate the plague...

          Not really, but I didn't appreciate their diseased poop showing up in odd places, so I got rid of them.
