Is it normal to keep multiple emails that are just numbered

I've made multiple emails that is just my name plus a number going from 1-9 so [email protected] etc. I just don't want other people who share my name to take them in case I need 9 emails for separate use.

    I have multipil ones for different purposes. I have one where I answer letters that I am not sure of
