I've had this confliction for a while. I'm a nice guy and all but when I jerk off I start thinking about really fucked up shit. I've never acted out on it, and even though I'm anonymous I'd rather not go into details. Once I finish masturbating I sometimes feel sick and feel like I need therapy.
what kind of "sick shit " ? does it involve fecal matter, or harming someone/yourself?
Given my and many others genuine proclivity for sexual sadism I’d say normal, the only issue is you must avoid escalation. I do such things with consenting people I know.

I think really sick stuff would include anything that involves death (not like mourning and humping since that's relatively normal, grief does that) but like fantasizing about dead bodies, decaying matter etc, as well as non-consensual acts i.e. brutal rape, animals etc.
But also, despite the repugnant nature of the aforementioned, if it lives in the mind only and you never harm another person (or animal) just to get sexual release, I think you're okay.
