I use to play the violin and piano a lot as a child and teenager, so my taste in music was classical for many years. Even had my mother buy me the complete collection of Mozart and Beethoven on CD. When I was finally able to get an ipod, it was great, but I had my ipod called a waste by those of different music taste. I didn't mind though, because if any were given a musical instrument or a music sheet, they would neither know how to read it, nor know how to play any instruments; it's people like those who think music is just singing, when there's so much more to it.
So don't hide your music taste. Embrace it and find friends who like it too.
