Is it normal to have the same dream for 3 years in a row???

Would it be normal to have the same dream for 3 years in a rowEvery night I have a dream that I become the mayor of my hometown. The exact same things happen, as In the last dream, except a little bit more detail is revealed to me. I always see this guy in the dream, who looks very familiar but I dont know him and in the last dream I got married to him... Is this normal or should I see a doctor?
