Is it normal to have romantic dreams about someone you're not interested in?

Last night it was the second time. I've had two dreams now about this girl in my class that I've barely even spoken to. Both have been romantic-y, but not sexual. In the first one, We were sort of together in a room and half-naked and flirting and being suggestive to each other, but nothing happened. And in the one last night, we were talking, she was upset about something and I was comforting her, she tried to kiss me but I turned away because I have a girlfriend.

Yeah I have an IRL girlfriend but in the first dream it was like she didn't exist but in the second, I was conscious of her existence.

I have a feeling this is probably normal and all brains are just weird like this sometimes.

    dude , if your girlfriend ever finds out about you being half naked in a dream with another chick that is cheating and she will bust your balls about it . i would delete this comment . every time you wake up with morning breath she will accuse you of eating pussy all night. you dont need that . then when you get up to piss a stub your big toe in the dark and say "aw fuck" she will start screaming i knew it you cheating bastard you are with that slut again. then the rest of your life it be who just farted , was that you? because in her mind she is sharing you with dream woman.
