I only held guy friends for a time as well. But I would take each person individually. Never shut a door. There are guys that are gossipy and judgemental and there are girls that are cool and laid back. I think it's normal to look for certain things in friends. Totally normal. Just be careful, some day you may need that more nurturing support from a girlfriend that a guy may have a harder time giving. =)
