I use to feel the same way in hs but it's because I was insecure. I felt inferior around girls but when I was boys they would give me extra attention because...well I'm a girl. I think it's slot healthier and just more fulfilling to have friends of the same gender as well. And just know with guys there is often underlying sexual tension and that shouldn't be the base of a friendship.
