Is it normal to have hair growing on my bellend

I am 48 and have had hair growing out of bellend, like under the foreskin, for quite some time now. It's just like ordinary long pubic hair and I just wanted to know if this is the kind of thing that happens when people get middle aged or if I should go get this checked out.
