Is it normal to have difficulty writing a description on a dating site?

I signed up to a dating site because I'm desperate. I got to the part where I'm supposed to describe myself and couldn't continue. Everything I could possibly think of to write is a lie because it's impossible to communicate who I am in a single paragraph. I do not fit into any stereotypes. Listing interests are meaningless. Can anyone tell me how to approach this?

    Of course it's normal. How often are you expected to sell yourself casually enough to look like you're down to earth but still seriously enough so you don't look like you're just on the site for laughs?

    This is probably the most normal-est thing I've seen on here.

    Approaching it? Look at other featured profiles or ideas from those you admire. Don't steal their life story lol but adopt their format for embellishment/formality purposes.
