Is it normal to have different personalities in front of different friends?

It's like I'm can be 2 different persons in front of my friends. To some, I can be very expressive of my feelings and feel like I can be a little child. But to others, I'm afraid of expressing my feelings too much and usually am more cool and mature. But seriously, I equally love them all, just that I'm different in front of different friends. IIN?

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's normal. I've done it, too.
I think we just adapt ourselves to whoever we're around. Like some people you can go off the handle in front of, some people you have to be chill in front of.
It's just an adaption of your personality for the enviroment you're in.

To my best friend I'm more of an open person, who is fun, friendly, and playful.. But to my other not as close friends I'm not as open etc... Maybe that's what your having.

UM...THATS CALLED BEING FAKE... BE YOUR ONE TRUE SELF WITH ALL YOUR FRIENDS... IF SOME FRIENDS DONT LIKE THE REAL YOU...THEN THEY'RE NOT YOUR FRIENDS...AND YOU SHOULD MAKE NEW FRIENDS. REAL & TRUE FRIENDS ACCEPT YOU HOW EVER WHICH WAY YOU ARE, AND LOVE YOU FOR YOU.

This is a question i ask myself a lot. I am hopefully assuming the rest of you do to. I know about this different display of personality amongst different friends or groups. Working in a japanese restaurant, i took on their characteristics in speech and mannerisms; humor. As to assimilate with them, get along; survive.

Or a different personality where, I'm with a colleague from work, outside of the professional environment. otherwise known to me as my "fake" personality which of course i choose not to not exist within my primary alias.

You could even think about children in front of their parents and then when they are with their friends.

It really depends on where and how you met that person. Also your friend could be the same way. Normal. everyone has different personlities. It's like acting a way with your mom and differently with your dad. It's obvious, you're a schizo...lol
