    I used to do this too because I had bad dandruff (gross, I know) and somehow random scabs on my head. I don't do it nowdays much at all but yeah, it's normal.

    I used to have dreads and I would constantly pick at my head, just for general grooming and such. Now that they're not there, I still pick my scalp all the time.
