Is it normal to have a nightmare about being in a zombie apocalypse?

Do you watch a lot of Zombie movies?

It seems we don't really have control over what we dream so I see nothing abnormal about this

I have so much ammo and stored food id be good for atleast 6 months

I've had this dream several times which is weird because I'm not even a huge zombie movie fan or anything like that. I do not think about zombies at all in day-to-day life.

Edit: Well the dreams usually just relate to some sort of virus, not necessarily directly zombie stuff, but lots of people hiding being infected, etc.

Those were always the most fun dreams for me. Mainly because they were the stupid slow zombies. Now if they all ran things would be 100x more difficult.

I once had two dreams that were set up like a video game in which my childhood friends and myself, as children, had to sneak past groups of zombies, and got chased by Hulk-like mega-zombies. My character, according to the character selection screen, was slow (movement-wise) but good with computers.

Dreams are weird; that's just how they are.
