Is it normal to have a learning disability

I have dyscalculia, and dysgraphia. I don't write straight and get my letters in the wrong place, similar to dyslexia but not. I lose my place VERY easily. I also cannot do basic math, such as addition and subtraction. I'm a grown woman who's also struggled with a severe stutter. Is this normal? I've never met anyone else with learning disabilities since sixth form, and I feel a lot less intelligent than the average person. IIN?

  • A painter may make amazing art but burn toast and not be able to cook anything...a chef may make fantastic cuisine but dance like an idiot...figure out what your good at and take pride in it.everybody is good at something don't worry about what your not good at.and yes learning diss abilities are very common and again there are so many different types... there is no normal when it comes to humans

I think its pretty normal. I also have dyscalculia and struggle with math along with a stutter sometimes. Its nothing to be ashamed of. You're still smart even if certain things are made difficult by disabilities
