Is it normal to have a crush on a mythological goddess?

I love Norse mythology, the stories are so fascinating, but I feel attracted to a Norse goddess and I’m wondering if this is not a normal thing. I’ve heard of fictional crushes, but is this really the same?

Just as normal as weeaboos and their waifus! If it's okay to have a crush on one fictional character, why not one from mythology?

It's easy to be attracted to a fantasy because you can imagine the goddess to be any way that you desire. The mythological tales and illustrations depicting gods and goddesses are created by people, as a reflection of idealistic qualities that they envy.

I guess it's normal. I have been thinking a lot about fictional female characters from books and video games.

  • Maybe you're connected to this goddess. I worship the Moon Goddess and am her servant.

So if you landed on the Moon would that be like a Christian touching Jesus?

      • Actually they're the Triple Goddesses: Artemis, Selene and Hecate.
In my prayers I praise Diana tho (she's also known as Artemis).

Are you a Wiccan? Hecate is often represented by a triple form so I get her but Selene was a Titan not a god. Not really pro people. Artemis is alright, but she really didn't like people either.

          • Are you into Witchcraft? Where do you hail from?

          • Not a wiccan but I study Stregheria, the Old Religion.
I am drawn to Celtic myths as well, though.
Artemis is Diana. She is THE Goddess and Cernunnos ( the Horned God) is her companion.

Diana/Artemis doesn't hate humans. She is the mother of all witches and she is Love.

I see Stregheria has rewritten the legends regarding Diana. My opinions are based off the Greek and Roman legends. So I beg a pardon.

One question though, do you practice celibacy.

Every Neo-Pagan religion claims to be the only old religion. When in fact most have changed so much as to be unrecognizable by the originals. Stregheria condones and encourages the use of vengeance and black magic. I don't like that. I'm an eclectic Wiccan. I chose what I worship and do. Instead of being told.

              I like the Celts.

I dislike Diana. Mostly for the attitude of her followers. Completely anti-male. By the way, there are many other goddesses and gods.

Hecate is the mother of witches. Aphrodite is the goddess of love.
