Is it normal to have a crush on a guy that i only saw for a short time?

I can’t stop thinking about the guy I met at a week-long volunteering work 4 months ago. We haven’t met since the volunteering finished because we live in different states. We’re friends on facebook, but our chats never last long, and from what I can tell, he doesn’t seem to be interested in me. is it normal to still like him, or am I being a bit obsessive?

    Yeah, I fell head over heels for a guy within a few weeks of meeting him once(x
    It might sound pathetic to some, but I was unbelievably happy while it lasted.

    It is normal, I feel the same about a guy I only met and talked to once. Try getting to know him better, then ask if he's interested. If not, I know it hurts but you just have to move on. Maybe he'll at least want to be friends if nothing else.
