Tons of people have terrible trips. I've had dozens of positive trips, and a handful of negative ones. The negative ones never got out of hand, and were mostly just me having anxiety and not being able to relax during the peak (or even for most of the trip, as with almost all of my shroom experiences)
Last time I tripped, I figured it was a "last hurrah", so I took a bunch of shrooms even though I'm more keen to LSD than psilocybin.
The trip was so intense that I never wanted to trip again, and I was literally "reborn"... It was so intense and impossible to explain.
I just don't prefer shrooms at all. I never fail to have some kind of negative reaction. I can handle LSD better than anyone though. I am the God of acid~
