Is it normal to hate wearing open-foot shoes?

I've never been keen on shoes that expose my feet anyway but it was far less of a problem for me before I got older and realised that the fetishisation of feet was a real thing, and since then I'd always avoid open-foot shoes when shopping even if the shoe is my style (such as Iron Fist and Demonia). If toes are visible, I won't give them a second glance.
Who else has similar feelings on this and what are your opinions, guys?
