The police are often douches. When I meet a douchebag cop, much like any other person that is a douchebag, I have the inclination to strike them. If you just hate the police entirely, blindly and persistently, that is stereotyping, and that is not normal. It is just as bad as racism.
The police stereotype themselves. I'm white and I used to live in a black neighborhood. To them I was looking for drugs. I don't do drugs. One time I was walking with a black girl. They thought she was a prostitute and I was her john. But its funny as hell when I always checked out which made them look stupid as hell.
