Is it normal to hate people who don't walk in a straight line?

I just really REALLY hate people who don't walk in a straight line down the foot path.

Examples: They glued to their phones and have to stop in the middle of the path and look up and turn around and walk a little here or there to orient themselves before walking some more. Know where you're going you idiot.

They are walking towards me on my bicycle and rather than choose the most logical trajectory ie continuing the one they are still on they go out of their way to choose a side of the path (even though it's big enough and this is unnecessary) that means I must change my trajectory to not hit them. Just walk in a straight line!

They just generally gravitate all around the path making it impossible to overtake them. You get real close behind them and go to make the critical overtaking step then they toddle over 20cm to the left and you are stuck standing behind this person closely like a weirdo.

WALK IN STRAIGHT LINES PEOPLE

Is It Normal?

  • They don't have to walk all over the place either.

  • Actually, NOBODY can walk in a straight line if they don't have a reference point or a compass. So you then must hate EVERYBODY!

  • Aye, matey! I always try to sail me ship in a straight line. Arr! It's mighty hard having to post on here while scramblin' for me compass like a pack o' scurvy dogs, in the warm Caribbean waters.

  • Humans are not programmed to walk straight. If you blindfold a motherfucker and tell him to start walking straight, he will start veering off to the right at some point.
